Ordering and Payment

How Do I Place An Order?
When you see an item you like, click on "add to bag" and continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Once you are finished shopping, just click on "checkout" and you will be directed to the checkout page. Upon completion of your order, we will send you a confirmation email, which will include your order number and a receipt of items ordered. In addition please feel free to contact us at service@urbanoutfitters.com, and our customer service representatives will be more than happy to assist you.

Restricted Merchandise
Please note we are unable to ship certain home items, beauty items, gift-boxes and other select items internationally. These items will have a notation in the online details and in your shopping bag. These items may be removed from your order prior to shipment. You will not be charged for the removed items.

All prices are displayed in US Dollars. Your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate automatically. UrbanOutfitters.com accepts:

How Will My Order Be Shipped and How Much Will I Be Charged?
Orders shipped internationally can be shipped with Duties and Taxes due on delivery via Standard or Economy, or with Duties and Taxes prepaid via Express. Your choice: simply make your selection during checkout, we'll handle the rest. Orders shipped via Standard or Economy will be delivered by your local postal agency. Rates by service type are listed below.

Will I have to pay any taxes and duties for my order?
Orders shipped via Express will not incur duties and taxes at delivery. These fees are included in your online shipping total.

International orders, shipped via Standard or Economy, can incur duties and taxes. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the Tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.

 

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right, let us know. Follow the directions on the back of the packing slip to return merchandise for credit. If you would like other items you may place another order through the website or specify what items you would like in the "New Merchandise" area on the packing slip. Please keep in mind that the shipping fees outlined above will be applied to exchange orders. We are unable to offer free shipping for new orders and exchanges shipped outside of the USA.

Any shipping fees associated with making returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

All returns and exchanges must be sent, via a track-able and prepaid method, to our returns facility, shown below. Please note that Urban Outfitters is not responsible for any returns that are lost or stolen while in transit. Once we receive your package, we will promptly exchange or refund the cost of the items as you instruct.

Please remember to include the order number on your return label. Your refund will be credited back to the same card used to make the original purchase. Please allow one to two billing cycles from the day you return the merchandise for your credit to appear on your billing statement. Sorry, we cannot accept COD returns. You may also return merchandise you ordered online or though our catalog to any of our stores located in the United States and Canada. We are unable to accept online returns in our stores located outside the United States and Canada.

*All orders are refunded in US dollars to the credit card used at the time of the original purchase. In the absence of that credit card, a store credit will be issued. Your credit card company will calculate the current exchange rate automatically.
