What Is Republic Bike?
Urban Outfitters has teamed up with Republic Bike to bring you a personalized experience in bike design. We offer more than 100,000 component and color combinations for the single speed Plato Dutch Bike and the fixed gear / single speed Aristotle bike. You just need to pick and choose. Republic Bike will build it, box it and ship it directly to you. Republic Bike also offers Gift Cards. Each Gift Card issued by Republic Bike is valid for the purchase of one custom built Republic Bike & the associated shipping costs. Republic Bike Gift Cards cannot be used to make purchases at Urban Outfitters stores or on Urbanoutfitters.com. Likewise, Urban Outfitters issued Gift Cards cannot be used to make purchases for Republic Bike merchandise. Orders for custom built bikes and Republic Bike issued Gift Cards are processed and shipped by Republic Bike. Once your order is placed, information is only available through Republic Bike. If you've placed items in your shopping bag on urbanoutfitters.com, they will not appear in your Republic Bike bag and you'll need to complete your purchase separately. Order Info
Within 48 hours of placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. You will receive a second email & your credit card will be charged once Republic Bike begins constructing your custom made order. You'll receive a third and final email when your order has shipped. Depending on demand, your bike will be built within a few days of receiving your order. All items featured on the site are in stock and available unless noted as "backordered" in the build page. If a portion of your bike becomes backordered or unavailable after you place your order, Republic Bike will contact you. Shipping & Delivery Info
At this time, Republic Bike is only available to the Continental US. Orders shipped within the continental US will be charged a flat delivery fee of $34.00. Orders are shipped from Florida and are typically delivered within 2 - 8 days from the date your order ships, depending on your location. Returns & Exchanges
Republic Bike returns require a return authorization number for processing. A return authorization number can be obtained by emailing us at returns@republicbike.com. This return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package upon return. All shipping charges, outbound and return, are non-refundable. Returns can only be accepted within 30 days from the purchase date. For backorder items, returns are accepted within 30 days from the shipped date. There are no restocking fees for returned items.
Gift Cards
Republic Bike is pleased to offer Gift Cards. Each Gift Card issued by Republic Bike is valid for the purchases of one custom built Bike as well as the associated shipping costs, ($399 Bike + $34 Shipping). At checkout the product total will show $399 & the postage will show as $34 however the total value of the Gift Card will be $433. Republic Bike Gift Cards cannot be used to make purchases at Urban Outfitters stores or on Urbanoutfitters.com. Likewise, Urban Outfitters issued Gift Cards cannot be used to make purchases for Republic Bike merchandise. Please note: Neither Urban Outfitters or Republic Bike is responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. For your protection, Republic Bike will automatically recognize your Gift Card when you redeem it, and populate the shipping address the Gift Card was sent to.
